Estonia Condemns Actions of Russia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Kaya Kallas, condemned the actions of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, which undermine European security. She called for unity among EU member states in response to aggression.


Estonia Condemns Actions of Russia

European Union Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas commented on her call regarding the current situation with Russia. During a press interview on Saturday, Kallas reaffirmed that the European Union is monitoring the latest developments in Ukraine and the Mediterranean. The minister added that the European Union is prepared to adopt additional measures against Russia in the event of further escalation in the region.

In this context, Kallas pointed to the importance of dialogue with Russia in order to avoid exacerbating the crises. She stressed that the European Union is committed to supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and stabilizing the region. Regarding relationships with Russia, the European Foreign Minister clarified that dialogue does not mean compromising the principles and values that the European Union defends.

In concluding her statements, Kallas emphasized that the current situation requires diplomatic solutions that rely on dialogue and negotiations to avoid escalation of tensions.
